The market for fresh tilapia remained stable throughout June 2026. Demand was strongest for fish weighing between 300 and 500 grams, which continue to be preferred by restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and household consumers. Larger fish sizes above 500 grams maintained premium prices due to increasing demand from institutional buyers and processors.
Fresh catfish prices remained relatively stable during the reporting period. Demand was mainly driven by restaurants, roadside food vendors, and regional markets where catfish consumption continues to grow.
